Last night I drank my first cup of coffee roasted from a local small batch coffee roaster, whose site I’m helping give a major overhaul.
Oh man…talk about good coffee! Very nice.
The coffee arrived on June 26, and was roasted on June 25. Seriously fresh coffee!

So we’ve already established the fact that I like to drink coffee. Let me rephrase that–I like to drink good coffee.

I have become what others would probably refer to as a coffee snob. It’s not because I want to be, it just sort of happened.

This morning, Emily and I went in to vote (and yes, I voted for myself). The entire time we were there (about five minutes), we didn’t see any other voters in either Grant 1 or Grant 2 precincts. We did expect a low turnout, and the townspeople are living up to their expectations, unfortunately…

This morning I had a morning meeting with Nathan Tatman from County Line. We met at BrewDaily’s in downtown Auburn, and I was curious how parking would be, seeing as the streets of downtown Auburn are all closed for the week’s 76th Annual DeKalb County Free Fall Fair.
