Raegan and Billie Jean

Posted by on 17 Apr 2010 | Tagged as: Adoption, my life.

I’ve mentioned to many of you that Raegan seems to just love Michael Jackson.

Today, we show you proof of her appreciation for the King of Pop:

Raegan is doing wonderful. She’s 3 1/2 months old and has been sleeping through the night for the last 7 weeks now–that’s been nice for us as parents. Raegan smiles a lot and likes to talk and play. She is very social and seems to like to interact with people more than play by herself.

Raegan has her 4-month checkup in a little over a week, and the doctor told us to start on cereal about a week before then, so this morning Raegan had her first cereal. We thought we’d try Coco Puffs, and she really did go coo-coo for CoCo Puffs. Of course, we are kidding–it was rice cereal. It went as expected, she spit most of it out and wanted her bottle. She did seem to like the cereal, she just didn’t know what to do with it.

Billie Jean is a popular song. To this day it can stop a grouchy TJ from crying. He immedately stops and starts dancing. Maybe its the hard beats in the intro.

Love the video. That was so funny!

I used to put fruit in baby cereal for my boys because they wouldn’t eat it plain. Before I did that I used formula instead of water to make it just to give it a little flavor. They ate that ok for awhile, but then got bored with it so we switched to fruit. I’m sure your doctor will talk about things like that at your next visit. Just thought I would share what worked for me. 🙂

She’s getting so big! It doesn’t seem like that long since you guys drove down there to get her. She’s so precious.

That’s so crazy, Nathan. Her birth mother might have listen to a lot of bass oriented music while Raegan was in the womb. It’s the coolest thing. It’s awesome she’s a fan of the King at such a young age. 🙂

We have a music lover. It’s in the family! Yeah! I’ve never seen her stop crying like that before. Thanks for capturing that! Wonderful!

HILARIOUS!!! I have seen her “singing” at her Grandma Diehl’s and it is so obvious, her love for music. I thought maybe she might start moon walking but will wait a few more months for that. Ha
