My jab at MS Office for Mac update (year 2014) had nothing to do with Windows updates, but specifically a jab at Office and how slow Microsoft develops this software suite.
I do expect the next version to release in 2012 or 2013, but am not holding my breath, thus the 2014 estimate.

Although Microsoft only releases new operating systems every several years, major issues are fixed by the release of regular service packs, usually every two years.

Also, I read an article again the other day that more malware authors are targeting macs, so get your Clam AV now!!</description>
