Dear Mr. Griswald,
After decorating my tree for 20+ years, here's how I do it: I have 2 triangular nets of lights. I throw one on one side of the tree, the other one goes on the opposite side of the tree. I connect the plugs and plug it in. Adjustments are performed by shoving the lights inward a couple of inches here and there, and looping the edges around the branches. I can do this in record time, now. I'm still working on the time-efficient method of hanging decorations.
