yeah, if you could take that whole part about emergent out. I immediately regret that dscision. haha

I regret that. There is terrible theology in it and it's most certainly not the answer, I do think we've reached a point where questions are much needed. To begin remodeling what the "church" looks like, or even what the gospel looks like to a postmodern. We can't continue doing it as it's been done.

Thank you for inspiring me to make a fool of myself, I have personally enjoyed it.

Joe Farmer,
You talk about bad theology, and then suggest emergent is the answer?
emergent thinkers are the definition of bad theology, if you get your theology from the Bible and not panetheists, buddhists, etc.

Funny stuff!

[EDIT: I corrected this comment, as I had a negative where it shouldn't have been!]

Hurry up emergent?

I would ask what is meant by this...

I thought Jesus was the answer...I'm not sure I would count Mclaren and paggitt the answers to the churches problems since they are pulling their theologies from guys who are panentheists, buddhists, hindus...read the footnotes of their books...........

This was a very interesting comment to say the least.

Great post Nate.

Oh Emotionalism and Consumerism. A how they have found their way in the church. It's almost like you wonder what today's clergy (bad general blanket statement up ahead BEWARE) was thinking when they chose their profession. like, I think I could do this, and do it good. Do it BIG.

It's almost like a new thing that there's a LOT of money in, the American church demographic is upper middle-class, so it just makes sense. Especially if you follow God will bless you with many nice things theology.
