BlogRush sending me traffic
Posted by nathan on 26 Sep 2007 | Tagged as: Tech Stuff., random.
Earlier this week, I installed BlogRush on this blog. It is a type of targeted link exchange. You can see the BlogRush widget in the sidebar column.
The cool part is I can block certain words from showing up, so that’s certainly cool! This is free, and I’m interested to see if this thing drives much traffic or if it’s just a waste, in which case you’ll find it gone rather quickly…
If you’ve got a blog and want to drive traffic to your blog, you might consider BlogRush.

What is drive traffic (as you know I am not blog savvy). Is it like sitemeter where you can see who is looking and such?

‘drive traffic’ means ‘get more traffic’ to your site.
Blogrush is a new (11 days old, i think) link exchange, where, on my front page, you can see a new box in the sidebar which has some links. Those links are randomly generated based on what category of links I want to display, and filters out links I don’t want to show.
As for site stats, this is not anything like sitemeter. I actually use Google Analytics. I am going to do a series on Analytics next month as I approach my one-year blogging anniversary…
hope that answers your question

Thanks. It does answer my question. Are you looking for more traffic on your blog? I couldn’t get Analytics to jive with blogger (but I am also computerly challenged).

I’m always up for more traffic to this blog…
I do realize content is the best way, and I’m working on that…
