Ever wonder why people at McDonald’s do not greet you with, “Hello, what are you going to buy from me today?”
Instead, it is, “Hello, what can I get for you?”
Do you see the difference? The first is about me. (you buy from me), the second, is all about you.
People don’t care about you (sorry). They care about themselves. If you want to help get people from point A to point B, it has to be for their own benefit, not yours. In their timing. On their schedule. On their terms.
