A new productivity increaser?

Today i put into practice a new productivity tool, so we’ll see how it goes. So far, it’s been nice.
I am doing just one little thing differently. I now check my E-mail twice a day instead of like 50 times a day. I now check and respond to emails at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (i also do any needed approvals to the church calendar only during these times.)
I’ll keep you informed about how much of a difference this makes…but only at 11 and 3:30…

I have started doing the same thing, but I have learned that there is a time for exceptions. Some things are critical, and if I know about in advance (like a file for a project that has to go out right away) I will keep an eye out for it. It has taken months, but I am finally learning to ignore the other stuff in my inbox until the appointed times
I also tried only sending email during a certain time each day, but I found that was just plain infeasible (for me).
If it works for you, it really is a producivity increaser!
