I Broke My Addiction This Week!

Nearly six months ago, I posted about an addiction I had.
Although i no longer needed them, I could not stop wearing my eyeglasses. I had worn them every day for about 14 years.
This weekend, I was wearing my prescription sunglasses, and forgot to grab my regular glasses as we went to church Saturday night, so i went without my glasses.
On Sunday, I decided to wear my sunglasses and see if i could do without them. I did.
About 30 times a day, literally, i think about pushing my glasses back up my face. It’s kind of annoying not having that weight on my nose.
But I am now glasses-less.
I suppose now i need to change the photo on my top banner, eh?

I was driving home yesterday and I saw some guy walking along the road. I thought to myself, “What crazy guy is willing to walk on this road!” Then I took a second look. It was you! The whole no glasses thing threw me off. I had read your blog but I didn’t realize it was you until I turned onto CR 35.

I hadn’t read your past posts on this subject so I just did….very interesting…every single person in my family, on both sides, has vision problems, mostly nearsightedness, that they need correction for. I have never heard of this getting better for someone! Bad genetics for me! I am planning on having Lasik after my husband gets out of college. Good for you, I just thought you started wearing contacts.
