your favorite blogs

Posted by nathan on 23 Mar 2007 | Tagged as: Uncategorized, random.

I have recently added a new feature to the sidebar of my blog, listing the most popular posts.

It uses a complex (or if you understand it, simple) mathematical function to decide the popularity of posts. Right now it is changing a lot because it is just starting to gathering data. i expect it in another week or so to settle down and quit shifting around so much.

But that led me to be curious…what is your single favorite blog to read?

Just one, not loads of them, and not your complete blogroll. Just one.

Oh yeah, and i know nathandiehl.com is your favorite, so it is eliminated…what, other than nathandiehl.com is your favorite?

Nathandiehl.com really is my favorite because you post regularly. We have a short list of some friends and family blogs, but they don’t post as often. It’s so exciting to click on a blog and see a new post. “Oh, what is going on with ….. today - look, a new post.” I’m a dork.

There’s this guy, he writes some really insightful stuff, and he’s very attractive and fun to be around, a great all-around guy. The name of his blog is in French…. Pensées or something… :)

Seriously, though, I love the Stand To Reason blog. The founder of Stand To Reason, Greg Koukli, was on WBCL this morning. Good stuff.

Yes, Steve Pavlina’s blog is great…

I think if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Zen Pizza.

It makes me think. It helps me realize that there are a lot of people who don’t think the way I do. It forces me to continue working out my faith, to stay grounded in scripture and focused on God. It also helps me realize what hills of beliefs I should be willing to die on, and what hills I should be willing to drop the fight on.
