Joomla!, the cms i love

Posted by nathan on 05 Feb 2007 | Tagged as: Tech Stuff.

Joomla! is a powerful content management software. Joomla! is open source and free. Both free as in free fries and free as in freedom.

Joomla! is the cms that www.NewHope.in is running.

I had been a moderator at the Joomla! forums for a little over a year. It was a good roll, and i learned a lot. It was fun and i have gained a lot of friends. But i have left my post as a moderator at the Joomla! forums to free up some time for some other opportunities coming up…

if you ever need to create a web site for any reason, i do strongly suggest Joomla!. Joomla! is seriously very powerful, and yet pretty simple, too.

And if you’re wondering, this blog is powered by WordPress, an open source blog software.

Just wanted to pop by Nathan and wish you luck with whatever your future holds. You have been a great help to many Joomla users both during your time as moderator and the times before. I enjoyed working with you when I was with Joomla and loved our discussions elsewhere.

Those who don’t get involved as a volunteer in an open source project never really understand the level of commitment or the time that gets spent on it. You made a HUGE contribution! Thanks for.. well, just being you ;)

    God Bless,
    Elpie
