It is very exciting to me that an event such as the Superbowl, about as secular as you can get with consecutive beer ads and a half-time show that is not always family-friendly (not for this family anyway), will have teams led by Christian men (don't forget team owner Irsay, also a man of faith that thanked the Lord after accepting the championship trophy). I don't know much about the Bears' players, but it is clear that Dungy has been successful in inspiring his team to have great sportsmanship and attitudes. Each time I hear an interview with our players, not just Peyton but many others, they give credit to the whole team for victory and display humility generally lacking in pro sports. These are the kinds of athletes I want my sons to look up to. I'm proud to be a Colts fan, win or lose (but we are going to WIN!) Thanks for putting this up on your blog!
